LSP Newborn Session
Family photography is where my heart lives. I believe in the importance of memory and in the need for photographs to make those memories tangible. Those first sweet days and weeks with a new baby are some of the most precious, difficult, intense, lovely days in life. I feel honored every time I'm welcomed into that space.
To maximize your comfort, and because I am a lifestyle newborn photographer (not a prop/posed newborn photographer), LSP Newborn sessions take place in and around your home, allowing for plenty of feeding breaks, changing breaks and parent snuggles, but mostly this allows me to document this new version of your family as it is right now - the nursery you worked so hard on, the place you call home, your pets, plants, pillows and the little nooks and people that mean the most to you.
As an alternative, you're welcome to choose to come to my beautiful, bright, natural light studio in downtown Rochester.
Your session includes up to three hours and all of your edited digital images. You'll also get a protected online gallery with the ability to share, purchase prints, products and albums, and download access.
Booking info: I offer a limited number of newborn sessions each month. To purchase a session, please can select the month you anticipate your session will be (typically within 2-3 weeks of birth). We'll work together on a specific date and start time once the baby is born and based on your family's routine, but typically sessions are offered on weekdays and they begin in the morning around 9 or 10 am - this is all flexible, though! If you select September and end up needing the session in August or October, no worries at all.
Travel within 25 miles from downtown Rochester is included. Contact me for travel rates and availability if you would like your session to be outside of this range!
This session fee is non-refundable, but is transferable to another date if rescheduling becomes necessary. Reschedules must occur within 2 months from the original date.
