Flowerwell is a locally owned flower farm and design studio known for its lush, garden-inspired approach to florals. Founded by first-generation farmer Jenny Rae Siplo, Flowerwell grows and designs with a focus on heirloom varieties, seasonal color, and natural texture. Their work is intentional, artful, and deeply connected to the land. We are SO lucky to be able to host sessions here every year.

You’ll receive an exact address leading up to your session! But for planning purposes, Flowerwell is in Brockport, NY.

I’m always surprised and inspired by what my clients come up with! Truly, wear what feels like you. If you’re comfortable and confident, it will show. These sessions are about documenting connection, not perfection, and hopefully that notion brings you some peace.
That said, here are a few things that usually work beautifully on camera:
Solids and neutrals
A mix of textures, a variety of patterns/scale of patterns
Punchy colors that add life
Natural, soft fabrics, dresses with movement
And a few things to skip if possible:
Clothing with big logos, text, or busy graphics
Lots and lots of black - I feel the urge to dress myself like an Addams family member every single day, but too much black can suck the light and detail out of your outfits
Matchy-matchy outfits — coordinating tones always look more natural and intentional
AND for sessions at Flowerwell - the ground is uneven on the farm! Unless you’re a world champion in navigating farmland in heels, I wouldn’t suggest ‘em.
