Close your eyes, and imagine the first material object you’d grab if you had to flee your home (just pretend it’s a zombie apocalypse or something). My guess? You thought of your photos. And there’s a reason you’d grab some dusty old albums: there is nothing more precious than our memories. That mental hodgepodge of people, places, and experiences shapes who we are. As someone with a regrettably bad memory (I may or may not be part goldfish), I know the importance of making those memories tangible.
